Rooted in a lifelong fascination with the camera lens, Peyton grew up surrounded by snapshots — a mother with a point-and-shoot, a father with a Polaroid, and an early sense that photography was its own kind of memory-making magic.

Today, Peyton brings that same sense of wonder and intentionality to Mixon It Up Photography. Known for vibrant, gel-based imagery and a deep love of creative collaboration, Peyton works with artists, performers, and DJs to craft visuals that pulse with color, light, and life.

When not in the studio, Peyton can be found capturing the energy of events or the personality of pets in her signature “Pet Pawtraits.” Her work is guided by curiosity, connection, and a belief that the best photos don’t just document a moment, they ignite it.

Peyton has been honored to study under amazing professors, as well as leading figures in the art community. She is always excited when projects allow her to meet new people and travel to new places.
